Perpetual tasks listed on the left are tasks which will require a hand from time to time and current tasks are limited quantity tasks, usually following a move or restructuring of the site. Note that a specific perpetual task may not need any attention today, but it might tomorrow. Other perpetual tasks may require hundreds of edits before they are "completed" and are down to zero. Click the small info signs for a more detailed explanation of how to perform the selected task. If you finish a current task, mark it with a by adding {{check}} in front of the task. Beginner tasks Beginner tasks are for people who are still new to wiki'ing. These tasks assume that you've read the help page Beginner's Corner. Topics are links, inserting images and adding content. Perpetual beginner tasks Link from Dead-end pages Link to Orphaned pages Insert unused files on the appropriate pages. Add content to articles where appropriate. Update and add content to the oldest pages and the pages with fewest revisions Current beginner tasks Intermediate tasks Intermediate tasks require a bit more knowledge of wikicode and focusses mostly on categories and the basics of using templates. Help:Category, Help:Templates, and C.Syde's Wiki:Templates will come in handy. It might be a good idea to take a tour around all our categories to get a feel for how they're connected, use the Category tree. Perpetual Intermediate tasks Categorise uncategorised categories, files, pages, and templates Categorise media Mark articles with minor templates. Edit and improve articles needing improvement Articles needing confirmation Articles needing clarification Articles needing a general cleanup Current Intermediate tasks Advanced tasks Advanced tasks require a bit more knowledge of wikicode and how C.Syde's Wiki is structured. This level will cover larger templates, uploading images, image licences, redirects, references, and stubs. Perpetual Advanced tasks Fix broken and double redirects. Add licencing information on files with unknown copyright status Add sources or deleted statements in articles with unsourced statements Expand on Stubs, articles with short sections, and articles with missing information Add wanted pages and categories Current Advanced tasks Expert tasks Expert tasks are for experienced wiki editors and requires vast knowledge of wikicode or how code programming works in general. Perpetual Expert tasks Current Expert tasks Make sure userbox templates sort users after their username by adding |{{PAGENAME}} to the category tag. Hardcore tasks Hardcore tasks are for users (mainly administrators, assistants, and content moderators) who are experienced with JavaScript, CSS and the workings of both Fandom and MediaWiki. Perpetual Hardcore tasks Current Hardcore tasks Fix the "Recent MediaWiki Changes" section on the Admin Portal page so that it only shows recent edits in the MediaWiki namespace Administrator tasks Administrator tasks are tasks which only administrators, assistants, and content moderators can perform. Perpetual Administrator tasks Delete pages and move files Move files with pre-fixed generic filenames such as screenshot and snapshot. Remember to leave a redirect or ideally, edit the links to the file. Find and delete duplicate files Current Administrator tasks Fix the Quicklicence.js Change the JS Button on the Administrators' dashboard so that it says "JavaScript" instead of "JS". Fix the broken JavaScript on the Administrators' dashboard so that it points to the blog post creation window. Fix the Special:Myblog link on the Account Navigation Links page so that it points to the user's blog page. Bot tasks Bot tasks are major trivial tasks where a large amount of pages needs a minor edit such as moving one category to another or updated a parameter across many templates.
