Note:
I do not own the Crash Bandicoot series. They are owned by Sony Computer Entertainment, Universal Interactive Studios, Konami, Vivendi Universal Games, Sierra Entertainment and Activision. I'm just a fan of the series. And I created this page.

Comparing my favourite Crash character models - Volume One
Comparing my favourite Crash character models - Volume Two
Comparing my favourite Crash character models - Volume Three
Comparing my favourite Crash item models
Comparing my own models of Crash characters
Comparing fan made renders of Crash characters

Below is a gallery of some of the various models of some of the Crash Bandicoot enemies, and a vertical side by side comparison between them. Note that this only covers the models that I consider worthy of inclusion. Any models that I dislike will not be included. This page is a direct follow up of Volume One, Volume Two, and Volume Three of the Comparing my favourite Crash character models trilogy. As the trilogy drew to a close, it became clear that another page was needed to cover up some of the various models of some of the Crash Bandicoot enemies.

These enemies are the Lab Assistants, Tribesmen, Fish, Monkeys, Venus Fly Traps, Spitter Plants, Chickens, Crabs, Frogs, Rats, Cobras, Turtles, Lizards, Birds, Seals, Eels, Sharks, Goats, Honeybees, Polar Bears, Scarab Beetles, Skunks, Spiders, Warthogs, Armadillos, Barrel Throwers, Bats, Crocodiles, Echidnas, Gorillas, Hippos, Lions, Machine Gunners, Moles, Orca Whales, Possums, Pterodactyls, Robot Walkers, Steam-Powered Hovering-Spike-O-Trons, Scorpions, Scrubbing Bubbletrons, Sparky Tentaclebot Units, Evil Hands, Triceratops, Chinese Dragons, Lens Probes, Spiked Saucers, Crawlings, Spiked Shells, and Tikis.

These enemies appear in Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, CTR: Crash Team Racing, Crash Bandicoot XS: The Huge Adventure, Crash Twinsanity, and the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy. Enjoy! :)

Crash Bash The Fish from Crash Bash bear little to no resemblance to the Crash-fish, both visually and behaviour wise. So a model comparison is not possible. These fish are harmless but they can indirectly complicate things one jumps on to the arena as a Walrus may jump on to the arena and catch it. While the walruses themselves aren't harmful, they can cause problems since the arena isn't balanced, and the walruses can affect the arena balance.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Flying Fish
Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
(Flying Fish)
The Flying Fish from the N. Sane Trilogy are much more detailed, expressive, and defined than their counterparts from Crash Bandicoot. Surprisingly their colouration is entirely different, being red with cream instead of orange with blue and red.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Mechanical Piranha
Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy
(Mechanical Piranhas)
The Mechanical Piranhas from the N. Sane Trilogy are much more detailed, expressive, and defined than their counterparts from Cortex Strikes Back. They are also quite different, having green eyes, and what appears to be an angler with a green light. They are also quite a different shape.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Puffer Fish

The Puffer Fish from the N. Sane Trilogy are much more detailed, expressive, and defined than their counterparts from Warped. The lips and the underside of the Puffer Fish's bodies are now a creamy colour. The colouration as a whole is less saturated. The lips and eyes stick out more.

Monkeys

Models: Appearances: Information:
Crash Bandicoot Rolling Monkey
Crash Bandicoot
(Rolling Monkeys)
The Monkeys' original appearance. The Rolling Monkeys will attack by rolling back and forth on a set path, pause for a brief moment before rolling back into the opposite direction. Crash can easily defeat them by spinning them away, though he must avoid doing this while the monkeys are rolling or else he will be sent into the opposite direction and possibly knocked off his path.
Cyborg Monkey Crash Bandicoot 2 Cortex Strikes Back
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
(Cyborg Monkeys)
The Cyborg Monkeys from Crash 2 mostly resemble the Rolling Monkeys from Crash 1 but they have a more cyborg like appearance, and much more detail than before. The Cyborg Monkeys jump back and forth along Crash's path, sometimes jumping over gaps or TNT Crates. Crash can defeat them by jumping or spinning them away. However, they will be more tricky to defeat since they will be jumping around a lot.
Gorilla Crash Bandicoot 2 Cortex Strikes Back
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
(Gorillas)
The Gorillas from Crash 2 bear little to no resemblance to the other Monkeys from the first two games, so a model comparison is not possible. These Gorillas stand on a stone pillar and constantly throw logs in front of them that bounce over the other stone pillars in front of them. The logs are thrown at them by some mysterious creature in the darkness under them, probably another gorilla. They can be defeated by a spin attack, making them loose balance and fall backward in the dark under the platform they were previously standing on.
Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped Monkey
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
(Monkeys with Jars)
The Arabian Monkeys with Jars from Crash 3 bear little to no resemblance to the Monkeys in the previous games, so a model comparison is not possible. These Monkeys try to balance a set of three jars. The pile of jars will make it hard for Crash to jump over, so he first must spin or slide the monkey in order to get rid of the jars. Once Crash attacks the monkey for the first time, one jar will fall on the monkey's head, causing it to move around blindly. To dispatch of the monkey fully, Crash must attack it a second time.
Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped Projectile Throwing Monkey
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
(Projectile throwing Monkeys)
The Egyptian Projectile throwing Monkeys from Crash 3 bear little to no resemblance to the Monkeys in the previous games, or the Arabian Monkeys, so a model comparison is not possible. These Monkeys hide in large jars and throw projectiles that explode and paint Crash grey. Crash can dispatch them by breaking the jars they are hiding in. Once he breaks the last jar, the monkey will cower in fear and act harmless towards Crash. He can jump on the helpless monkey and earn additional Wumpa Fruits.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Rolling Monkey
Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy (Rolling Monkeys), Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fuelled This model is a much more expressive and defined resemblance of the original model, although in practice it looks more like the monkeys from Crash 2 with the exception of the missing robotic parts.
This article needs a headshot or closeup of the original appearance of the character to illustrate what it is about. Find an image or upload one and add it.

So a model comparison is not possible. These rats were taken by Doctor N. Gin and mechanically enhanced with metal bodies consisting of a face-plate with glowing eyes and a metal frame going around their bodies. N. Gin also installed spikes on the sides of the rats to help them withstand a fight with Crash. However, the top of the rat is exposed, leaving a place for the player to jump onto and eliminate the spike rat for good.

The shape of the Spiked Cyborg Turtles are more polygonal than on the spotted turtles. Doctor N. Gin's handiwork on the Crash 2 turtles is evident throughout the game. For one thing, the left side of the Spiked Cyborg Turtles have a terminator eye, and the left side of the faces are encased in metal.

(Happy Tikis)
The Happy Side of a Tiki from Crash 2 closely resembles the angry side in appearance, except it has a cheerful expression instead of an angry expression. The eyes are bigger, and the face is green instead of red.
Crash Bandicoot 2 Cortex Strikes Back Fire Breathing Tiki
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Crash Bandicooot Purple: Ripto's Rampage/Fusion
(Fire Breathing Tikis)
The Fire Breathing Tikis from Crash 2 have no connection to the tikis found in the mountain levels of the game. They bear little to no resemblance to the tikis from the mountain levels, both visually and behaviour wise. So a model comparison is not possible. The fire breathing tikis appear as generic hazards in the ruins levels, where they will constantly breathe fire and stop for several seconds. They also can be found in twos swiveling around while breathing fire. They seem to take on the appearance of gorilla heads.
